Bourbon Crusta

Shaken Cocktail

INGREDIENTS

  • Bourbon2 oz6 cl
  • Triple sec¼ oz7,5 ml
  • Maraschino1 tsp5 ml
  • Lemon juice½ oz1,5 cl
  • Simple syrup¼ oz1 cl
  • Orange bitters2 dashes
  • Sugar rim, long lemon twistGarnish

METHOD

  1. Chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Rim the glass with sugar (moisten the rim, then dip).
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Add bourbon to the shaker.
  5. Add triple sec to the shaker.
  6. Add maraschino to the shaker.
  7. Add lemon juice to the shaker.
  8. Add simple syrup to the shaker.
  9. 2 dashes of orange bitters.
  10. Shake hard (10–15 seconds).
  11. Strain into the chilled glass.
  12. Garnish with a long lemon twist.
